Don't Be Evil |
You haven't seen many -- or any -- EVDL posts lately? If you're a Gmail user, you're not alone. Some Gmail users get most or all posts. Others get a trickle now and then. Quite a few get none.
In May of 2022, Gmail began blocking EVDL mail for many subscribers.
Why? Beats me. I'm sure they're not singling us out. Most likely we're just "collateral damage" in their ongoing war against email and search competition.
I contacted Google, and got no response. I didn't really expect one. But you're welcome to try that if you like. Good luck.
WHAT YOU CAN DO:
Use a different email account with the EVDL. For free webmail, I recommend Disroot. Other suggestions here. Once you've signed up with an email provider that respects standards and principles, you can change your EVDL delivery address on your configuration page.
Read list posts in the archive. You can (so far) still reply to them via Gmail.
Starve Google. Stop using them. See a list of alternatives to their services here.
